Spring is here
and creation is
LIFE. LIFE. LIFE.
This is one of my FAVORITE times of the year. How about you? Are you as enamored with the emergence of buds and shoots and new baby birds tweeting for their mama’s care as I am?
I am fascinated. Are you?
Of all the things I see, there are so many things I cannot see. In my own backyard there is action in the earth, in the trees, and on a blade of grass. From the most minute substances and creatures, I ponder the amazement that GOD made it all.
God has made the things that are seen and UNSEEN!!!
I rejoice in the CREATOR!!!
I cannot even wrap my mind around all of CREATION!!!
ALL OF IT!
The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and all who dwell in it. Psalm 24:1
May my heart and yours give glory to the Creator of this AMAZING creation. May we give thanks for the work of His hands. May we bring the same zest and zeal to HIM the way we do to those who create: artists, architects, musicians, surgeons…..for HE made all these and more….He made you and He made me. May you and I rejoice that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made”. We LOVE YOU LORD OF HOSTS!!
Who are the “hopeless”? Who comes to mind when you hear that title? Is it the ones that are at some sort of disadvantage? Why do you and I deem people “hopeless”?
For me, I would say that the “hopeless” are people that can’t see their hopes and dreams come true, whether they are “over the top” dreams or not. They either want something unattainable OR they don’t believe they can get anything they truly do want, so why hope?
Regardless of that, there is HOPE for the HOPELESS. Even while they are hopeless, there is HOPE!!!
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. Colossians 1:27
May my heart and yours remember that even when we are hopeless, there is hope. We are not the hope givers. We are the hope receivers. May we pray that we would grow closer to Christ and be filled with the hope of glory: Christ in us. May we pray for those we deem hopeless and believe they will enter into a relationship with You Lord. In Jesus name!
In this day and age, the data collected by search engines we use build a marketing profile designed to sell us stuff we will most likely be interested in buying.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21
So what do our profiles say about our hearts? What are you looking at and searching for? What are you researching and purchasing? Where is your treasure? Where is your heart? Where is my heart?
May my heart and yours be found searching, seeking and getting to know the King of kings! May we desire Jesus above our wants and above our distractions. Pay we seek to live the life and not put our hope in stuff. May you and I value You above all else. In Jesus’ name.
